All vessels must be registered

On the stretch from Tørring to Klostermølle (from the Gudenå up to Mossø) sailing must be registered either as rental sailing, resident sailing or guest sailing - and guest sailing requires registration in the form of a guest number / guest mark which you can obtain on this website.

On the Tørring-Klostermølle strech, it applies that sailing is only allowed if:

  • the vessel does not use an engine (not even an electric motor) or a sail.

  • you sail with the current (Vestbirksøerne excepted).

  • sailing takes place in the period 16th of June to 31st of December and in the period 8am-6pm.

  • Group sailing takes place with a maximum of 15 vessels divided into units of a maximum of 5 vessels with a suitable time distance to other units.

  • only 2 and 3 person canoes are used as well as 1 and 2 person kayaks, or SUPS which are equated with these vessel types.

  • On Naldal Lake and Vestbirk Lake, it is also allowed to sail with a row-boat.
